If you’re looking for thebest pillowto help enhance your sleep, my DreamCloud Pillow review may just help you make up your mind. A pillow that works in line with your mattress to help correctly align your spine is key to a great night’s sleep and I found this DreamCloud pillow kept my neck in place.
With its shredded memory foam interior and quilted outer shell, this medium-firm pillow would complement one of thebest mattresses of 2024. Much like choosing the perfect mattress tension, buying bedding online without trying it first hand can be tricky, but I’ve gone in depth in this T3 review to help you decide if this pillow is right for you. Read on to discover more about how I think it fairs in terms of price, design, comfort and support.
DREAMCLOUD PILLOW REVIEW: PRICE AND AVAILABILITY
There’s currently one pillow available on theDreamCloud website, which retails for £85 for a set of two, and in the US, it’s available for $99. At the time of writing, you can pick up this set for £65, and make a saving of 20% off the full retail price.
DREAMCLOUD PILLOW REVIEW: DELIVERY AND SET UP
I was impressed at the stylish packaging the DreamCloud Pillow came in on arrival and think it makes a great gift idea. The set of two pillows arrive vacuum-packed in plastic packaging - in a blue cardboard box with a ‘DreamCloudfor Every Night Luxury’slogan on the front.
Upon opening the plastic packaging, the two pillows began to take shape immediately. I left it around four hours before giving the pillow a try, just to make sure it had fully formed. There was a little off-gassing to contend with – which is that new factory smell you can sometimes get when items have been vacuum packed – but this soon dispersed.

DREAMCLOUD PILLOW REVIEW: DESIGN AND FEATURES
The DreamCloud Pillow is attractively designed with a quilted outer shell that feels soft to touch and a blue trim around the perimeter of the pillow. While I slept with a pillow case on this pillow, I felt like I could have slept without one as the surface of it is tactile and smooth in hand.
Rather than one layer of memory foam inside, there’s a pillow casing filled with memory foam pieces. This gives you that traditional pillow feel, with the good pressure relief and bounce back of memory foam.

DREAMCLOUD PILLOW REVIEW: PERFORMANCE
Firm but supportive
I’ve tested a wide range ofdown vs memory foam vs feature vs latex pillows in the past, with my usual go-to being thePanda Hybrid Bamboo Pillow. As I’ve touched on above, this medium-firm DreamCloud Pillow felt firmer than what I’m used to and on my first night trying this pillow I wasn’t 100% sure it was for me. It took me a few days for me to get used to the different sensation, but then I began to sleep contentedly on this firmer surface.
While the Panda pillow has one piece of foam inside that creates one even pressure-relieving surface for you to rest your neck, the DreamCloud is made up of shredded memory foam pieces. This means that while you don’t get as even a pillow surface as you would with one layer of foam, you can plump the memory foam to adjust it to your preference.
I was able to cosy into its shredded memory foam design and find a position that suited me when I was both sleeping on my side and my back. It felt like it supported my neck and helped to keep my body nicely aligned – especially when I was laying on my back.
Unlike pillows such as Simba Hybrid Pillow, the DreamCloud isn’t adjustable in height, however, so this is something to bear in mind if you want to be able to tailor the depth of your pillow. As a result, if you’re a front sleeper you may find it a bit too high.

Temperature regulation
I tested this pillow in October when the room temperatures never got above 19 degrees. I never got too hot or too cold while sleeping on this pillow. While the cover of this pillow is made from polyester, it has Tencel cooling fabric that comes from a eucalyptus tree and helps to wick away moisture.
The pillow also has a mesh border to encourage breathability. I would recommend teaming the pillow with a breathable pillow case to enhance this. I would also suggest ensuring the pillow case is large enough. On the first night I tried to use this pillow, I realised my pillowcase was a little too snug and this meant the pillow felt a bit too tight in its pillow casing. I switched to a more roomy pillowcase that made it easier for me to plump up the filling inside to just how I liked it.
Care and maintenance
I was able to zip open the cover and see the inner memory foam filling of the mattress sealed within another casing. The zip on the side of this pillow makes it easy to take the cover off for cleaning. Unfortunately, you can’t machine wash the cover, but only spot clean where needed. There’s a note inside on the inner section of the pillow that houses the memory foam pieces that suggests plumping it regularly to maintain its fullness. Unzipping the pillow so you can get inside makes it easier to do this.

DREAMCLOUD PILLOW REVIEW: VERDICT
The DreamCloud Pillow comes well-presented and is good value for a set of two pillows that makes a nice gift idea.
As the pillow naturally adjusted to the shape of my head, I was able to appreciate just how supportive its firmer tension and think this design works well for side and back sleepers. The pillow never felt too high or too soft and allowed me to easily snuggle up and nestle into night after night.
While you can’t take the memory foam out of its inner casing, being able to unzip the cover means you can plump up the memory foam easily to suit you. You can’t machine wash the cover, but being able to remove it from the memory foam does make it easy to spot clean.
Overall, I think this is a good option for anyone who wants a firm and supportive memory foam pillow. Restless sleepers have a great chance at snuggling into position and hopefully staying put until dawn.
DREAMCLOUD PILLOW REVIEW: ALTERNATIVES TO CONSIDER
If finding a memory foam pillow that doesn’t sleep too hot is your priority, theSimba Hybrid Pillow with Stratospillow is a great alternative. It comes with temperature regulating fabric that will keep you at the optimum temperature and has an adjustable design. The cover is easy to remove and clean too.
If you prefer a memory foam pillow with a more even surface, try thePanda Memory Foam Bamboo Pillow. It’s bamboo cover is thermoregulating and naturally hypoallergenic.
