Sharing the same bed with someone sounds great in theory, but if you and your partner have different sleep needs, it can get complicated. This is definitely the case when it comes to choosing thebest duvet, as you might want something extra plushy and warm, while your other half might prefer a thinner design to keep things cooler.
But Eve Sleep has claimed to have come up with a solution in the form of its Eve Wunderflex Multi-Way Duvet. With its adjustable tog design, you can have one side of the duvet extra thick while the other is ultra thin, so you and your partner can sleep together but at different temperatures.
But how does the Eve Wunderflex Multi-Way Duvet work? Is it comfortable? And most importantly, could it helpstop sleep divorces? I tried it for a few weeks to find out…

Eve Wunderflex Multi-Way Duvet review: setup and design
The Eve Wunderflex Multi-Way Duvet arrived in a zippable bag alongside an instructional leaflet that explains the many combinations that it can be transformed into. I have a double bed, so I opted for a double size of the Eve Wunderflex Multi-Way Duvet – as mentioned above, it only comes in one size and I’m unsure if it would fit comfortably into a king or queen size cover but it worked with my double sized covers just fine.
The Eve Wunderflex Multi-Way Duvet has two linkable halves which makes up eight different combinations. The togs available include 4.5, 9 and 13.5 and the duvet can be adjusted and customised throughout the year, so you only need to use one for all seasons.

I like to be extra warm when I sleep whereas my fiance prefers it a bit colder, so I left the Eve Wunderflex Multi-Way Duvet as it was on my side (9 tog) but removed one half of the duvet from my fiance’s side which made it 4.5 tog. Then, I put the Eve Wunderflex Multi-Way Duvet into a duvet cover.

Eve Wunderflex Multi-Way Duvet review: performance
Assembling – or disassembling – the Eve Wunderflex Multi-Way Duvet was relatively easy, although the duvet itself is quite big and chunky, so it might be a faff for some. Once it was in the cover, it looked strange as one side of the duvet was much bigger than the other. It also took a while to get the bigger half to lay flat but the proof is really in the sleeping rather than the looks.
The design of the Eve Wunderflex Multi-Way Duvet was very clever, thanks to the zips and buttoning. When you remove a tog, the zip on the bigger half stays open so you may feel the zip through the duvet cover while you sleep, but I didn’t find this to be an issue.

One issue I found was that the tog and zips ‘travel’ underneath the duvet cover which can make the bed look and feel lumpy and bumpy. I wouldn’t say it was a major concern as the higher tog still stayed on my side but it did bunch up a little so I found I had to really shake it out when making the bed the next morning.
All of that aside, the Eve Wunderflex Multi-Way Duvet is an extremely cosy duvet to sleep under. As someone who’s always cold, I was toasty warm under the Eve Wunderflex Multi-Way Duvet while my fiance enjoyed the thinner tog as he’s always too hot when he sleeps. It’s soft and plushy, and the entire duvet feels and looks high quality, so it’s likely to last a long time.

Eve Wunderflex Multi-Way Duvet review: verdict
The Eve Wunderflex Multi-Way Duvet has quickly become my go-to duvet, and has put my other one to shame. It’s ultra soft and cosy, and the design is simple yet effective. Being able to adjust the togs is what makes the Eve Wunderflex Multi-Way Duvet a winner. It’s nice to not have to swap out your entire duvet when the weather drops or rises, so it’s definitely a worthwhile investment – and at £99, it’s really not expensive, either.
Eve Wunderflex Multi-Way Duvet review: alternatives to consider
Like Eve, many duvet brands have started to offer adjustable duvets. The best we’ve found is theScooms Hungarian Goose Down duvetwhich has different top ratings and is suitable for all seasons. Another good alternative is theNanu Hot and Not duvetwhich is a split temperature duvet.
