Update:Rockstar has confirmed that the alleged leaked footage ofGTA 6is real and has issued a statement surrounding the breach of the upcoming video game.
“We recently suffered a network intrusion in which an unauthorised third party illegally accessed and downloaded confidential information from our systems, including early development footage for the next Grand Theft Auto. At this time, we do not anticipate any disruption to our live game services nor any long-term effect on the development of our ongoing projects,” said Rockstar in a statement sent to T3.
“We are extremely disappointed to have any details of our next game shared with you all in this way. Our work on the next Grand Theft Auto game will continue as planned and we remain as committed as ever to delivering an experience to you, our players, that truly exceeds your expectations. We will update everyone again soon and, of course, will properly introduce you to this next game when it is ready. We want to thank everyone for their ongoing support through this situation.”
Original Story:A massive leak regarding Grand Theft Auto 6 has begun to circulate online with around 90 videos of what is thought to be in-development gameplay making its way to the web.
“Here are 90 footage/clips from GTA 6. Its possible i could leak more data soon, GTA 5 and 6 source code and assets, GTA 6 testing build. [sp],” said the user.
T3 has reached out to Rockstar Games for comment.

No word on the videos' authenticity has been made yet with the internet now debating their legitimacy. If this leak is correct, it will seemingly confirm previousreportsthat GTA 6 will feature one male and one female protagonist with the setting being a fictionalised version of Miami.
Earlier this year,Rockstar provided its first updateon the production of the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series, saying that “more development resources” will now be pushed towards GTA 6 with Red Dead Online content set to end as a result.
