This lines up with aKotakureport in April 2020 that pointed to GTA 6 being in early development, as well as severalindustry insiderssuggesting that the game wouldn’t be released until 2024 at the earliest. The 2024 financial year runs from April 1st, 2023 to March 31st, 2024.
APlayStation5 version of GTA V is next on the cards for Rockstar in March, so it’s unlikely we will hear more until later this year. History suggests an announcement in October is most likely, which you can find as part of T3’s officialGTA 6 hub.
