A gamer on theGTA 6Reddit community thread has created a chart full of their predictions as to when we can expect the GTA 6 trailer, unveiling and release dates, as well as when we will see official screenshots.
And, as can be seen in the chart, which can be viewed in full below, there’s plenty to get excited about, including a full GTA 6 announcement and trailer dropping this year.
As to how accurate these predictions are gamers replying to the post’s thread seem to feel these are actually quite accurate predictions, with user AnonymousScout360 for examplestating that, “I actually agree with this and think it’s reasonable”.
In addition, Reddit user Trojan_Man68stated, “that would mean gta 6 is released 6 years after RDR2 which honestly sounds about right”, while user JakJohn95notedthat, “this prediction might be exactly in my opinion. Fall 2022 is the 20th anniversary of GTA Vice City and this city will be main location in GTA 6. So Rockstar will announce it for celebrate the anniversary and will release it at 20th anniversary of GTA San Andreas, so fall 2024”.
Interestingly, this is the second time within a week’s period that we’ve heard 2022 as the year when we’ll first get an announcement for GTA 6, with GTA Forums community member Tez2stating that2022 “is pretty much given for the announcement of the next title”. Unlike OK-Cros8060, though, Tez2 states that “a release is expected a year after”, which would be 2023, not the 2024 call.

After all, it was only a few weeks ago that T3 reported on how GTA 6 is apparentlyin development hell, and that we may not be seeinganythingfor a long time.
What should Rockstar do to deliver such a game? Gamers have alreadycreated a wish listthat would lead to GTA 6 being a 10/10 title, as well as someseriously smart innovationsthat would take open world games to a new level of awesomeness. So let’s hope Rockstar is on the case.
