There also isn’t any doubt that the Dyson Airwrap is eye-wateringly expensive. It can even be quite difficult to hunt one down, especially if you’re after a specific colour – don’t even get me started on the pink and rose gold version.
With this in mind, I made it my mission to wade through the world of hair stylers and hunt down the best Dyson Airwrap alternatives. I’ve tried each and every one of the models on this list, and can confidently say there will be an option that works for you. Why don’t you take a look?
1. Shark FlexStyle

If you haven’t come across the Shark FlexStyle before, where have you been? It is the most expensive Airwrap alternative on this list, but it uses incredibly similar technology to the Airwrap, and some argue it’s even better.
The handle is split into two parts that swivel and click into place so you can easily switch from a dryer to a styler – something the Dyson doesn’t do. It also comes with various attachments to smooth, straighten, curl, define, and volumise hair, including a Curl-Defining Diffuser (another thing that the Airwrap doesn’t offer).
Most people prefer the look of the Airwrap and find the FlexStyle on the bulkier side, but it all comes down to taste. Read ourfull Shark FlexStyle reviewfor a more in-depth analysis.

2. BondiBoost Everlast Airstyler

The BondiBoost Everlast Airstyler is the most recent alternative I’ve been trying out, and I’ve certainly been impressed so far. Designed to provide an ‘everlasting range of styles’, the it’s able to dry, wave, curl and smooth a variety of hair types and textures.
The Airstyler comes with five ceramic-coated attachments which evenly heat the hair to lock in long-lasting styles. Whilst these attachments get really hot in the process, ceramic is purposefully used to add shine and reduce frizz, helping to maintain healthy hair for as long as possible.
I would say it’s more suited for short to medium hair, especially as the barrels are on the thinner side. However, for £300 cheaper, it’s definitely a strong alternative to go with.

3. Parwin Pro Beauty 4-in-1 Air Styler

The Parwin Pro Beauty 4-in-1 Air Styler is a multifunctional hair tool that can be used as a hairdryer, hair curler, hair dryer brush, round hair brush, blow dry hair brush, and straightening brush. Sounds a little familiar, right?
Its intelligent heat control feature measures the heat of the airflow up to 100 times per second and ensures temperature and air distribution for even drying, so you don’t have to worry about extreme heat damage.
Like the Dyson Airwrap, a powerful stream of air flows out of the the curler attachment and continuously forms an airflow around it, ensuring hair automatically sticks to the surface. It has really similar results to the Airwrap, and I was impressed with how long the curls lasted as well.
Multiple functions are combined in one excellent, practical styling set, so you can achieve various beautiful hairstyles efficiently and save time.

4. Bellissima Italia Prodigy Air Styler

I won’t lie, the first thing that struck me about the Bellissima Italia Prodigy Air Styler was its gorgeous bronze colourway. However, once I’d used it a few times, it was soon up there with some of the best Dyson Airwrap alternatives I’ve tried.
The styler itself is lightweight and finished with a ceramic-coated matte texture, giving it a professional, high-end feel. Its buttons are well placed, and it has a nearly two-metre cable that’s more than enough.
There are six attachments altogether, including two Coanda curlers, three brushes and a concentrator nozzle. The attachments have the same ceramic coating as the styler, which work to maintain the right styling temperature without overheating sections of the hair.
I also love the handy storage bag it comes with, especially as it’s a great way to keep everything neat and tidy whilst travelling. It’s made from a lovely soft material that will prevent any unwanted scratches.
As with a lot of multi-stylers, there are two Coanda curlers for each side of the head. However, as Dyson is still one of the only brands to combine the two, we won’t complain too much. Check out myBellissima Italia Prodigy Air Styler full reviewfor more information.

5. Revlon One-Step Blow-Dry Multi Styler

If you’re on a tight budget, this Revlon air styler is the most affordable in this list. However, it only comes with three interchangeable attachments for drying, volumising and curling. That being said, the vented curling barrel uses airflow to prevent hair from being damaged, which is great to see in such an affordable styler.
There’s also the option to buy more attachments, including a paddle brush head and round brush head.
